If this crack came from a small object thrown at it then no, not through the manufacturers warranty. However, if you got the warranty through Best Buy they should cover it. You may have to pay a deductible though.

Unless you might have bought a different warranty than comes with the TV, MOST manufacturers do not cover cracks due to objects hitting the screen. They only cover manufacturing defects. And it wasn't made that way, it was caused by some external force...not their fault! And, repairing it "out of pocket" will be more expensive that a totally new TV that's on sale right now! Believe me! In case you hacn't noticed, we are living in a "throw-away" society nowadays. How many TV repair stores are there today...??? Very FEW!! So, I'd suggest running to the nearest Best Buy and buying a new TV while it's on sale!!
