3D Bluray movies are outstanding on this set. A 3D DVD is much lower resolution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are 3 different modes of 3D on the TV. Hit the 3D button on the remote to cycle through them. I've found the 3D to work very well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have purchased several 3d movies to watch with my Samsung 3d bluray player on my LG55UH8500 and the first 2 movies I wached were horible but I chandelier the 3d settings and played around with the depth setting and turned off the eye comfortablility setting and turned off the power conservation setting and found when watching guardians of the galaxy that the 3d using the cinema or the spots settings that the 3d now worked great!!! It has worked better ever since. However, I think I like the 4k discs better than the 3d discs. So if u are going to buy dvds I would ask others how good a certain movies is on 3d.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, I've only recently got the TV. I only tried a few minutes of one movie so far. The film was Jaws 3, Blu-ray version. Never saw the film in theaters in 1983, but the opening credits scenes was like I remember, from Friday The 13th 3D. Wish this was on Blu-ray 3D, not the red/green glasses version. The items pop right out of the screen, like they should. Most 3D film from now, you only get depth between items. No real pop-out 3D. Make sure you are watching a real 3D Blu-ray movie. Not one from a web/app site. Hugo was another 3D film that I watch on another LG 3D TV. The depth was good, not great like Jaws 3. Hope this helps you. Good Luck Thanks
