• If the mini is decoding a proprietary DirectTV signal, then I don't believe the TV could decode it. If it's a standard 4K stream, then it should handle those channels just fine.

• This TV is compatible with netflix's 4k movies and TV shows but I have Xfinity and not direct tv. Sorry I can't be of more help.
