A:Answer It is hard to say. I have a 2014 model, 55 UB8500 @ 120Hz and a 2016 model 55 UH 8500 @ 240Hz. The research I've done states that it is not a true 240Hz, that you need to step up to the OLED Series to get the true 240Hz.
What I can tell you is the overall quality has improved from 2014 model to the 2016 model. The 3D image has improved, Xbox Dual Play feature has improved, internal speaker sound is 10x better, WebOS 3.0 is cleaner and easier to use. The new Magic Remote makes navigating easier than before. I'm very pleased with this TV picture quality and price point.
