A:AnswerYes, from my research the only difference between the UH7700 and the UH8500 is 3D capabilities. I was contemplating to get this or the 8500 and since the spec's besides the 3D are the same, I chose the 7700. I have heard the 3D on the 8500 is very good. But would need to not only pay more for this 3D on the TV but then more money on a 3D blue ray player.

A:AnswerThe viewing is good at all angles because of it not being a glare. However, I have it in the basement where I control the lighting situation. But I dont ever turn or adjust it to sit on either side of the basement when "vue-Ing" it.
