“There is a blue-green spot that just showed up on my 9 month old LG OLED55B6P 4K UHD Smart OLED TV that I bought from Best Buy. It's in the same spot. It shouldn't be there. How does it get fixed? Does the TV need to be replaced?”

If you play video games or watch something like a news channel with a logo constantly in the same spot then its screen burn. It won't go away and it's not covered by warranty so it's just something you have to live with. If not it may be a defect covered by the warranty but try going into settings and doing a pixel reset first.
