TV manufacturer's have select DIRECTV Ready TVs that have a technology called RVU built into them that lets you enjoy DIRECTV service and full HD DVR functionality without a receiver when it's used as an additional TV in a Genie HD DVR setup. The 2016 LG TVs that have this technology are as follows: 65UH6550, 60UH6550, 55UH6550, 49UH6500, 43UH6500, 70UH6350, 58UH6300, 55UH6150, 60UH6150, 65UH6150, 43UH6100, 49UH6100, 49UH6090, 55UH6090, 60UH6090, 50UH5500, 65UH5500. The 2015 series TVs that have that technology are: UF9500, UF7600, UF7690, UF7700, UF8500, UF8600, EG9600, EF9800. The LG - 55" Class - (54.6" Diag.) - OLED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - with High Dynamic Range - Silver, Model # OLED55B6P is not listed as a model with that technology. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no a receiver you are referring to that is built into the tv is to accept local digital broadcast sent through the airwaves like fm radio for your radio. only for your tv its digital (up to 1080p that I know of) and contains both audio and video
