TV manufacturer's have select DIRECTV Ready TVs that have a technology called RVU built into them that lets you enjoy DIRECTV service and full HD DVR functionality without a receiver when it's used as an additional TV in a Genie HD DVR setup. The 2016 LG TVs that have this technology are as follows: 65UH6550, 60UH6550, 55UH6550, 49UH6500, 43UH6500, 70UH6350, 58UH6300, 55UH6150, 60UH6150, 65UH6150, 43UH6100, 49UH6100, 49UH6090, 55UH6090, 60UH6090, 50UH5500, 65UH5500. The 2015 series TVs that have that technology are: UF9500, UF7600, UF7690, UF7700, UF8500, UF8600, EG9600, EF9800. The LG - 55" Class - (54.6" Diag.) - OLED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - with High Dynamic Range - Silver, Model # OLED55B6P is not listed as a model with that technology.
