“I have heard that the cable included with this TV is not wall rated. Is there an option to install without running the cable outside the wall?”

There are no cables provided, other than the power cord, which is probably not wall rated. If you install a recessed wiring box on the wall behind the TV, that includes an AC outlet, you plug the power cord into that which should be fine.

There is not a recommendation that I can make yo hide your power cord/cable. You can perform a Google search to find suggests on hiding cables. You can also try the LG Community Forum; it is a great resource for getting help from other LG customers: https://lgcommunity.us.com. ^Daphane
