An analog tuner would be of no use to anyone any more, as local TV stations stopped broadcasting analog signals and have converted over to digital broadcasting about 10 years ago. To get local TV stations on a new TV, you only need to get an antenna and hook it up to the antenna input on the back of the set. Best Buy sells several TV antennas.
