QuestionI just purchased this tv and trying to set it up. I am stuck on the first screen “where are you”. Any ideas why I can’t complete the setup?

- Answer Call the LG electronics toll-free customer service number and speak with a representative who can walk you through the set-up procedures. The number is located on LG's website and on the warranty certificate that came packed with the set.

- Answer Kate, When I tried hooking up my old DVD player using component cables, I couldn’t get the color to work. We stream most things though, so not an issue for us.

- Answer On your TV's remote, there's a button on the top right that lets you choose input from a little menu that opens up on the right hand side of the screen. Go down that list until you get to the icon of a TV and a Cell Phone. When you choose that for your TV input, it'll connect to your phone (if it's compatible) and you can view photos, videos, play music, access the web, etc. I find it nice to use for listening to my Pandora.app and surfing YouTube because the phone has a querty keyboard and the TV does not.

- Answer No, it wont work in the UK. This TV is engineered to work according to the ATSC/NTSC broadcast standards used in the USA, The UK uses the PAL broadcast system, which is totally different from the USA system, and TVs built for use with the PAL system will not be able to receive ATSC?NTSC programs. If you are planning to relocate to the UK, save yopur money, and buy a TV from a retailer there, which will work with the British broadcast system.

- Answer Even though LG does business in many countries, the TVs sold in the USA are engineered to meet the electrical and broadcast standards used in the USA, and nowhere else in the world. If you are planning to relocate to the Philippines or give this TV to someone who lives there, DO NOT buy a TV Sold in the USA, as it will not work in the Philippines, and you will be throwing your money away. Buy a TV from a retailer in the Philippines because LG, or other TV makers will have TVs the are designed to work in that country.
