You will need either a 3-prong or 4-prong power cord, depending on the type of outlet your residence has. If your house was built prior to 1996, its probably a 3-prong outlet. If it was built 1996 or later, its probably a 4-prong outlet. Check first. If you're installing a 3-prong cord on this stove, there is a little pre-installed copper jumper across two of the contacts on the back of the range. If you're installing a 4-prong cord, you remove the jumper and connect the 4 wires to the 4 contacts. The installation manual explains it pretty well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not recommended as the ranges uses a lot of power and those cables can wear down over time. For how cheap the new plugs are, I'd just get them anyways and prevent the future problems that could arise from the old cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cord is 3 wire for the range. I used my old one. They will not install it upon delivery. I had to install it myself. They will install a new one that they would like to sell to you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Without a new cord, Best Buy will not hook it UPO, just bring it in the door. Hook it up yourself, no problem, use your cord.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the new one, even though I had one with my old stove/oven, for exactly one reason. I was told that they wouldn't install my stove without the new cord and that if I wanted to keep my old cable, I'd have to install the stove myself. I felt strongarmed into purchasing it, basically. The guy at the store literally told me that they would bring the stove in, unbox it, and just leave it in my kitchen if I wanted to use my old cable. As to whether it would have worked or not, he wouldn't say, he just said that best buy wouldn't install it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, your LG - 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Range, Model # LRE3083ST can be wired to work with either a 3-wire or 4-wire circuit. All new installations require the 4-wire circuit which has a separate insulated neutral wire and the separate ground wire along with the 2-hot wires. I would definitely and unequivocally urge you to have a Qualified Electrician wire the range up for you!...IFV
