The LG has a simmer burner that has a low flame. I use it all of the time for soups and just keeping things warm while I am finishing other things for a meal and love it. However I don’t think you could put something like a thicker sauce on for hours and walk away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hopefully someone who has this range oven can tell you how low the flame for the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Dual Fuel Slide-in Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LSD4913ST is, but the surface burner flame can be adjusted to the Low Flame (Simmer) setting. You can test the flame stability by opening and closing the oven door quickly while the burner is set on a Lo setting to see if the flame is extinguished by the air currents created by the door movement and increase the flame height and test it again to get a flame that is low enough for you that will not be easily extinguished. You can also turn the knob from Hi to Lo quickly and if the flame goes out, you can increase the flame to your preference...^IFV
