QuestionWe are looking at this oven for our home in Wilmington. I see the lower oven goes right to the floor.Is there any issues with heat and the flooring underneath the lower oven. Most ovens have a warming tray down there so it doesn't every get that hot.

- Answer Hi. I thought the same thing. The sales rep was not positive at the time of purchase but indeed the 4313 does not come with a griddle. According to the manual the other model, 4315 does. Hmmmm.....

- Answer The LG - 6.9 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Double Oven Gas Range with ProBake Convection - Stainless steel, Model # LDG4313ST features a 14,500 / 12,500 (LNG/LPG) BTU Broil Element. It is designed for closed-door broiling. The upper oven can be set for broiling by pressing Broil once for Hi and twice for Lo then touching Start. It take about 5 minutes for the broiler to preheat...^IFV

- Answer My unit did not come with a griddle. I had to purchase it. If you use Amazon, it will cost between $86.00-$90.00, which is a lot less than the company sells it for which is usually over $200.00.

QuestionDoes a pizza cook evenly in the top oven? Is it uncomfortable to pull heavy dishes out of the bottom oven? Can you place multiple casserole dishes in bottom and do they cook evenly? Thank you. Research sometimes is maddening.

- Answer I find both ovens cook evenly regardless. I often use the top oven for pizza, garlic bread/rolls, single tray of cookies without issues. I have roasted chicken with side dishes in the bottom, everything cooks evenly. Removing dishes from the lower oven takes some getting used to, I find it easier to slide the rack out a bit so I pull them out evenly without spilling. I

QuestionWhat is "EasyClean". IS there a difference between this and "Self-Cleaning" and/or "Steam Cleaning"? I had an oven with "self-cleaning" which uses really high heat, smells and takes forever. It also may have caused the heating element to malfunction

- Answer There IS a difference between Easy clean and self clean. With Easy clean you use water and low heat to steam and clean up minor spills. Self clean uses high heat to incinerate spills. My new LG has both features.

QuestionI've read in some reviews that the knobs for the burners turn too easily causing the burners to turn on unintentionally if bumped, sometimes releasing gas into the kitchen. Is this correct? Are the knobs able to be removed or locked for child safety?

- Answer Range LDG4313ST does not have a Child Lock safety feature. The knobs can be removed. It has a Lockout feature. That automatically locks the oven door and prevents most oven controls from being turned on. It does not disable the timer, the interior oven light nor the knobs. ^Daphane

- Answer The differences between models #LDG4313ST and #LDG4315ST are the included racks. Model -LDG4315 includes 1 standard rack, a gliding rack and griddle. All other specifications and features are the same. ^Daphane

Self-Cleaning Freestanding Double Oven Gas Range with ProBake Convection® - Stainless Steel, Model # LDG4313ST is 350 °F for the Bake Mode and 350 °F (325 °F with Auto Conversion) for the Convection Roast and Convection Bake modes. The maximum temperature for the Bake mode in either oven is 550 °F / 285 °C. The maximum temperature for the Broil mode in the Upper oven is Hi 400 °F / 204 °C and the maximum temperature for the Convection Roast and Convection Bake modes in the Lower oven is 550 °F / 285 °C...^IFV

- Answer Although the LG - 6.9 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Double Oven Gas Convection Range - Stainless Steel, Model # LDG4313ST vents internally, it does not require a vent hood. The decision on whether to install one or not is really up to you. Ducted hoods actually move polluted air to the outside and get rid of all forms of pollution caused by cooking. They will draw fresh air from the outside to keep your kitchen air clean and prevent cooking odors and air borne grease from getting onto your kitchen cabinets. Ductless hoods on the other hand do not vent to the outside and consist of a fan with a charcoal filter that sucks up grease particles, odor and smoke. The air in your kitchen is filtered through the charcoal grill and recirculated back into your kitchen. There are some LG Over-the-Range Microwave ovens that will perform this same task that you could also install in place of a vent hood. ^CP
