• As long as you have a 3D ready bluray player and TV, you will be able to play 3D movies.

• No. 3D will work without but is not as good. Your set up is only as good as your lowest common denominator. You can run HDMI directly from 3D blue ray to TV to eliminate need unless you are running everything through receiver to power surround sound. We upgraded recently to Denon 4K/3D compatible, two zone receiver for same reason and love it.

• It is if you are running everything through hdmi through the receiver. If you run hdmi from your bluray directly to your TV and the sound to the receiver then no.

• The TV will convert any source into 3D. Cable, internet, you tube, it don't matter even if its on your old DVD player it will convert it into 3D for you. New or very old it will convert it. If the quality of the image going into the TV is not that great it can only enhance it so much. The 4K will make blueray even more awesome.
