Try running an optical cable..it worked for me
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the HDMI 2 port with ARC enabled. You have to have Similink (I think thats what it's called, cannot recall of hand) and have the HDMI control on in your AVR. That is one way the other is just to run an optical cable from TV to AVR, which is what I do on my 64EF9500 and Yamaha A2040
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 1080 LG OLED and and Yamaha 2050. I use the ARC HDMI connector and then use the audio 1 on Yamaha remote. It should play at that point if your other connections aren't utilizing it. This works for me when I'm playing from the TV Netflix app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not own a Yamaha A2050. However, I do own a Sony STR-DN840, and I set up my tv to run a similar setup. I run an HDMI cable using Input 2 because it has ARC. This allows video and audio to go to the tv and to the receiver. The out on my receiver is ARC compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You connect the OUT ARC HDMI Port on your receiver to the IN HDMI port on your TV labled ARC
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless there is an optical audio output I wouldn't go there. If the sound is that important I would use a blue ray or an Apple TV to access those apps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Headphone jack to dual rca plugs adapter into input of amp.
