• Don't know the refresh rate, but no problems watching football, basketball, hockey or rugby as to blurring or ghosting.

• The TV has a refresh rate of 60.

• I was worried about that as well but you know what, I ceased to worry about those specs after I watched my first basketball game on it. It is beautiful and the bottleneck is more likely to be our cable boxes.
