“How is the sound/volume on this TV? I bout a Samsung Flat Screen 8 years ago and sound is lousy even with a surround system.”

The sound is very good even without the surround sound.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The TV's sound is OK. I use the Bose surround sound that is the best in the business so sound isn't an issue. If you are not planning to use external speakers, I would say no flat screen TV has good enough speakers on their own simply because they cannot fit powerful enough speakers in them. Don't get me wrong, for such small speakers the sound is good, but you will not get theater quality sound with simply buying just the TV.
