“Can the voice command feature IE: Alexa be disabled if desired? If so, would this be the best approach for a person with respect to privacy concerns? When left enabled, does this tv have the capability to listen to conversations when not commanded?”

The TV itself doesn't listen to anything. You have to push the microphone button on the remote control to give it a command, or chose to link the TV to a smart speaker. So if you don't do either of those, there is nothing to worry about.

But to "wake up" the TV to ask for a google home/alexa command, you have to press and hold the voice button on the remote. It doesn't work like the standard smart speakers, so I don't believe that it is always listening like they do. Hope this helps you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Amazon Alexa capability does not have to be connected. The TV only listens when the Smart Assistant button is pressed on the magic remote. ^CP
