A:AnswerI don't have the Samsung but can give you feedback on the LG. I use the new Amazon Firestick that has 4K resolution along with Dolby/Atmos sound. When I use the Firestick and the TV changes over to Dolby Vision it does make a difference and the picture is very clear. The TV is clear with regular channels but the step up with the Firestick makes all the difference. DirecTV has a couple of 4K channels and when I tune to these it is the same step up in picture quality. (Not too much on these to watch regularly but some NFL games and sports at times will be nice.)

All the HDMI ports on the TV are HDMI 2.1 ports and they are all HDCP 2.2 compliant, so keep in mind that if you are trying to view 4K content on the TV from your computer, the HDMI Out on your PC also needs to be HDCP 2.2 compliant. I personally like it in the 5 foot range. easy to see from anywhere in the room and its over furniture so if you are in the kitchen you can still watch the news.
