QuestionWhat does full array dimming and full array dimming "Pro" mean between the two models on the SK9000 and the SK9500 respectively? Also, how is the quality of up conversion from 1080p to 4K on the SK9000 or SK9500?

- Answer Full Array Dimming Pro is able to provide better black uniformity as well as superior brightness across the TV screen. Full Array Dimming Pro provides better lighting control than Full Array Dimming so that you can enjoy better uniformity and brightness. All 4K TVs have a built-in 4K Upscaler. Currently, TV programs and cable programs are broadcast in either 720p or 1080i. 4K TVs have a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 (also referred to as 2160p) and will always play any video content they are presented with at their native resolution. When presented with a lower resolution, they will upconvert or upscale that signal to, or as close to their native resolution. The quality of the image after it is upconverted will depend on how well the upscaler performs that task. There is no qualitative measurement for the quality because TV broadcasters compress the signal and that can affect how good the upconversion will look. 1080i or 720p are signals that have fewer pixels than 4K. A 4K TV can improve the picture by upconverting. ^CP

- Answer The LOGITECH K360, LOGITECH K400, LOGITECH K750, LG Electronics MKS-1200and the LG Portable Bluetooth Rolly Keyboards Models # KBB-700 and Model # KBB-710 are the keyboards that have been tested for compatibility with LG TVs. The LOGITECH K830 is not one that has been tested for compatibility so there are no guarantees that it will work with our TVs. ^CP

- Answer It’s full array dimming but I believe it has fewer dimming zones than other TVs in this price range. Upscaled content looks as good as it can with this tv.

QuestionHi, i’ looking at the SK9000PUA and SK8000PUA and doing the comparing feature it shows that they have the same exact specs. Can you please tell me why since they have same specs there is a difference ?

- Answer SK9000PUA series TVs are a Full Array Local Dimming display and the SK8000PUA series are Standard Local Dimming. All 4 x HDMI Ports on SK9000PUA are on the side and the SK8000PUA series have 2 on the side and 2 in the back. USB ports on the SK9000UA is 1 rear, 2 sides and on the SK8000PUA is 2 rear, 1 side. ^CP

- Answer Yes, the LG 65SK9000PUA has full array local dimming. The number of LED used is not given by LG but one source stated that it was 128. The LG 65SK9500PUA was the 2017 model and it has very similar features. However, every year manufacturers make many small changes to their TVs so I would go with the newest model.

- Answer Hello, this TV is manufactured for use in the USA and does require 120Vac for optimal operation, however, the TV can withstand up to 240Vac with an adapter if needed. ^CP
