Reflected light will change the appearance of the light generated by the TV itself, which changes how you perceive the colors, and could also wash out some of the details. If you watch TV in a room that gets a decent amount of light, the best way to diminish the appearance of reflections on your TV is to position the TV somewhere where there will be no light shining directly onto the screen. You should also raise the lighting setting to the level that looks best in your space...^IFV
