Where a picture might not look as crisp is if a movie with a lower resolution is upconverted. If it doesn't have enough data, the picture will look grainy. The recommended HDMI cables are the High-Speed HDMI®/™ cable or the High-Speed HDMI®/™ cable with Ethernet. The latter matters more for watching streaming apps.
