“Is it true you can't get HBO Max? I'm on the fence about purchasing this one. I've read some bad reviews about dimming. The price is right though”

I don't think so it's a newer model most stream platforms should be available unless LG doesn't have it in their app store yet

However, we are continually working to add the latest streaming applications, such as HBO, but cannot provide a concrete timeline at this time. In the meantime, our webOS platform offers over 600 apps including streaming content and games - including over 180 free streaming channels via the LG Channels app. Also, you can access much of the HBO content through the Amazon Prime, YouTube TV or Apple TV+ apps that are available on our platform. If you have cable you can still watch HBO max through on demand on the app .Even if you have to buy a Roku stick it's only $30!! That's a small price to pay in the end. ( Especially with the great price for this model) I bought this tv and for the price it's amazing !!!! Can't go wrong with LG tvs
