“I am hearing disabled. I reply solely upon CC and subtitles. Because HDMI cables do not carry CC coding, I must play my DVD movies on a DVD player that connects to the TV via RCA or composite inputs. It seems to me that your 65" TV lack such an input. WHY”

• Closed captioning does come over HDMI. There must be a setting in your TV setup menu that does CC. I use if all the time via HDMI.
