  • Questionhow do you hook up the speaker to the cable box?

    • Answer Your cable box needs to have an HDMI-out socket. You connect that to the soundbar's HDMI-in socket. You then connect the soundbar to your tv. So, the soundbar will play the audio and forward the video to your tv.

  • QuestionI wanna get this, but am afraid the silver portion on top will distract or reflect when watching a movie. Make sense?

    • Answer As to whether or not the silver trim around the upper edge of the LG - 7.1-Channel Soundbar with 12" Wireless Subwoofer - Black, Model # LAS950M will be a distraction or will reflect while watching a movie will depend on the lay out of your room, and on the lighting within your room and on if you watch movies with the lights off or subdued in the room that the TV and the Soundbar are installed in. Your lights may be positioned in such a way that they do not reflect off the trim on the unit, but without knowing those details, it cannot be determined if that would be an issue...^IFV
