“It looks like the instructions in the manual are taking the Door fully apart to change it from Drop down door, to side swing opening door. Are there instructions or video to help us change this door to swing to the side? Denise looking for help”

It does both. You can open it from the side or press the latch and make it drop down. It doesn't drop down all the way though. From their manual: The LG EasyLoadTM can be tilted open from the top, hamper-style, allowing you to easily load the dryer without items falling on the floor. The door still swings open to provide easy access for unloading or loading of bulkier items. The door hinge can be reversed to adjust to the installation location.
