Any time you buy a dryer, you'll need to purchase a power cord. Every home is different, with the option to have a 3 prong or 4 prong 240v receptacle. Unplug your current dryer and count the prongs. The cord ranges from $15 to about $35 depending on prong count and length. Manufacturers just made it to where it's all universal - the home owner or installer just needs to attach the right cord. Very simply to do. It's a panel on the back with a single Phillips head screw and behind the panel are 4 color coded terminals with Phillips screws that the cord leads attach to.
