QuestionI am installing duct work to accommodate a stacked unit. What are the actual specification of the vent connection in the back of the appliance? i can't seem to find that anywhere online. Some brands include full specs, but I'm not finding that for LG.

QuestionI need to replace LG dryer DLGX2502V. This is a gas dryer. I would prefer to replace it with electric. Do I need to make any adjustments in order to do this? The washer I have is electric. what dryer is equivalent to this?

- Answer I'm not an LG tech, but.... If you replace the 'DLG...' with 'DLE....' when asking the Google, that ought to do it... Adjustments will be to run 220V single-phase to the location, and make absolutely sure the gas line is capped off with 0 leaks...bad things may happen, otherwise. ;) Do you have 220? Open the house 'breaker box'; if there's 2 vertical stacks of circuit breakers L & R, it's likely you do. *S* Have an electrician add the appropriate breaker and cable, attach the ditto plug and socket, and dry away. *G* Hope this helps, J

- Answer To an extent, yes it does. But I believe this would be true with any tumble dryer when you put sheets in with smaller clothing items, especially fitted sheets

- Answer Yes. But there can be issues. Would like to see longer telescopic vents for tight spaces. Especially when the wall vent is located 3 to 4 feet above the floor. Please remember a lot of older homes do not have a lot of space to reach around and make the connection of the vent to the wall outlet. Space is limited -- the semi-rigid vent is challenging to connect without crumpling once placed in to spaces once occupied by older appliances thus some type of blockage error is generated by the dryer. In Addition, the vent outlet on the back of the dryer should at least extend out to the furthest most point of the outer backshell. When trying to place a telescopic vent on the dryer outlet, one has to place the telescopic vent on at a 45-degree angle. This 45-degree angle can cause slippage at the bottom of the dryer connection when backing the dryer toward the wall toward. The telescopic vent should protrude out far enough to enable the vertical portion of the vent to firmly fit the outer backshell of the dryer at a 180-degree angle. In tight spaces, you can't reach down low to reattach the telescopic vent without pulling the entire dryer and pedestal out of position. The dryer and pedestal weight can be challenging for some to move. Bottom line -- some small changes can alleviate customers complaining about the flow sensor light (blockage) or why my clothes are not drying. Fix the dryer vent hose issues.

- Answer You can use it as a regular dryer. It is full size. To stack on top of the washing machine you need a stacking kit.
