The dryer, like all other LG front-load electric and gas dryers, for matching LG front-load washers, is stackable, and the 'Stacking the Appliance' instruction on page 18 in its owner's manual verifies this...^Ivan.

• A:Answer As with any other electric dryer, regardless of brand or manufacturer, all wiring and grounding for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.4 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart Front Load Electric Dryer with TurboSteam®, AI Sensing and Hybrid Electronic Controls with LCD Display, Model # DLEX5800V, must conform to your local building codes, or in their absence, with the latest edition of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70. A 4-wire cord is to be used in areas where grounding through the neutral conductor is prohibited for: (1) new branch-circuit installations and (2) areas where local codes prohibit grounding through the neutral conductor. A 3-wire connection is NOT permitted on new construction after January 1, 1996. If you already have a 240-volt 3-wire, grounding outlet, then your local building codes probably permit a 3-wire connection if the house was built before January 1, 1996, but you should verify that with your local building codes or your local building inspector...^Ivan.
