QuestionThe models on the floor seem to have knockouts to move the vent but the specs say rear vent only? I need to stack a washer and dryer and will vent to 4 inch on cabinet wall to right. 95" tall space footprint 31.5 wide 33.5 deep to allow room door swing

- Answer I had limited depth to mount my new LG DLGX3901B. I could not exceed 6 inches depth or my laundry room door would hit the dryer front. Normal 4" vent duct would not work. I used a short periscope assembly to translate the position of the wall vent to the back vent. Home Depo has both short and long adjustable periscopes. Distance from back of dryer to back wall is 6 inches. I did have to seal up all the periscope seams with metal foil, adhesive duct tape, but all is working perfectly.

- Answer I find it interesting that I’m being asked to answer this question. We ordered this dryer over a month ago. It was supposed to arrive on September 10. I got a message that day saying that delivery was delayed until Saturday. Now, I’m getting a message saying they’ll try to have it for September 17. So, I really can’t answer your question as I’m in somewhat the same boat. I ordered them at the same time so that I could have a matching set. We got the washer and now it’s seeming like we can’t get the dryer. The message I received says if we can’t get it by the 17th, they’re going to cancel the order. Maddening! I wouldn’t have bought the washer had I known

- Answer Since this dryer has a steam option you will need to get a hose connection and a vent kit. You salesperson should be able to tell you everything that you will need.

QuestionWhen using the Turbo Steam feature does that shorten the life cycle of the dryer? Also does the water completely evaporate, does it settle in the bottom or does it vent out the exhaust. Just curious.

QuestionFacing the dryer, can I vent the dryer from the right? From your owners manual, I can't determine if "right is from facing the front or back. Also, if you can't vent from the right, can you vent from the left?

- Answer This dryer is configured to vent to the rear. It can also vent to the bottom or side (right-side venting is not available on gas models). An adapter kit, part number 383EEL9001B, may be purchased from your LG retailer. This kit contains duct components necessary to change the dryer vent location. ^CP

- Answer No unfortunately It does not come with a dryer rack included but it is an available to purchase if you choose. Again the same applies to the program, it is not a standard setting but I'm sure you can download one to accommodate the dryer rack.

- Answer From the back side of the unit the vent hole is 3 3/4" from the bottom of the unit and 12 3/4" from the left side and 14 1/4" from the right side. From the right side of the unit the vent is 6 1/4" from the front of the door while closed and 3 3/4" from the edge of the front part of the cabinet. ^CP

- Answer When you connect the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Gas Dryer with Steam - White, Model # DLGX3901W to your router, your router is always transmitting a Wi-Fi signal. To stop your router from transmitting a Wi-Fi signal to the dryer, you can turn the router off. It is fine to turn off a router when no one needs to use the Wi-Fi network. It just poses an inconvenience to users who want immediate access to the Internet, because they will have to wait a few minutes for the router to re-establish a connection with the modem and start transmitting the Wi-Fi signal. Most modern routers will remember the settings that they were left on when they were powered off, so you will not have to set them up from scratch again...^IFV

QuestionIn an earlier answer to a question about what size gas tubing may be used for this dryer, you said that "3/8-inch approved tubing" may be used when less than 20 ft. Is that 3/8" ID or 3/8" OD?

If it is acceptable under your local codes and ordinances and when acceptable to your gas supplier, 3/8-inch approved tubing may be used for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Gas Dryer with TurboSteam™, Model # DLGX3901W where lengths for a rigid pipe are less that 20 ft. (6.1 m) The rigid pipe should be o.5-inch IPS. The 3/8" is an inner diameter...^IFV
