QuestionSo the "wireless" speakers have to have speaker wire connecting to the module meaning if I have speakers on each side of the room I would still have to run speaker wire across the room to the module?

- Answer The rear speaker module is wireless and connects with your soundbar via bluetooth. But the speakers are wired and need to be physically connected to the module. You can place the module anywhere, so you can place it next to 1 speaker and then just deal with running the wire to the other speaker. I got small speaker stands from Amazon (cheap, around $35) which allow the speaker to be positioned at the right height and have a guide in the arm that allows you to run the wire inside so you don't see it. Then you just have to run the wire along the floor. I tuck the wires in under my furniture and they are hidden. It all works if you're a little creative. A bit of a pain but they sound great! One other issue is the directions don't have details for some soundbars. If connection info isn't in the directions for your model, just give them a call.

QuestionI am having issues pairing the spk8 rear speakers to my sound bar sk9y When I turn on the spk8 unit the light just flashes fast and never pairs So I tried to use the pair button on the back of the receiver unit but it made no difference Help please

- Answer it should pair by itself the first time you turn it on out of the box. what you did (pushing the pair button) also should help it pair with your soundbar. you need to return and exchange it for a new one

- Answer Each speaker in the LG Soundbar that you have has a specified wattage as does the Subwoofer and combined, the total output for the Soundbar is 300W. If your Soundbar is compatible with the LG SPK8-S 2.0 Channel Sound Bar Wireless Rear Speaker Kit, it can be paired with the Wireless Rear Speaker Kit so it can stream audio wirelessly to the Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. Each speaker for the Wireless Rear Speaker Kit will output 70W for a total output of 140W...^IFV

- Answer I used mine on a SL8YG soundbar and it worked. I am sure it will work also for you. You need to make sure to turn on your sound bar’s “surround” function so you can add the rear speakers if you end up buying it.

QuestionWill these work if the receiver is on the other side of a wall? I'd need to mount these speakers on a high wall that has attic space on the other side, so I'd need to put the receiver behind the wall and run the speaker wire through the wall.

- Answer Placing a wall or ceiling between the receiver and your soundbar may cause interference or the unit to not work as designed. We cannot guarantee the unit to work properly if a wall is placed between the speakers and the receiver. ^CP

- Answer This is personal preference. Ideally, the surround speakers should be placed just behind, or to the side of, your seating position. Dolby recommends an angle of 110° to 120° from your listening position. The surrounds should be slightly higher than the front speakers in the room. - Answer I believe they are designed for the SK series only, Perhaps rhe best thing to do is buy them and then test them at home. Best Buy has one of the best return policies around

- Answer Placing a wall or ceiling between the receiver and your soundbar may cause interference or the unit to not work as designed. The speakers should be in a room that is under 85 degrees. ^CP
