The first answer was incorrect. The CX has HDMI 2.1 on all 4 ports. The C1 is also capped at 40gbsp just like the CX. I've been doing lots of research myself and the improvements are minor. Slightly better shadow detail, slightly brighter and the C1 has the new game optimizer. From the advice I've read it absolutely would be a good deal to save the $500 and get the CX. However it's up to you which one you want to buy. I'm leaning towards the C1 myself since I'm a gamer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.More important than the extra HDMI 2.1 are the many improvements in picture quality with the new processor, see my review for details. I would not buy the CX for the price difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure if it will be worth it, that is going to only be up to you to decide whats more important. The C1 is suppose to support the full 48gbs vs only 40gbs on the 2.1 hdmi on CX. Also the C1 comes with new Gen4 A9 processor, new google stadia built in, new picture/motion settings. Probably the same panel that the cx uses thou. I would wait and look at the two in store and see how much of a difference it is and then decide than just from going off specs alone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm waiting until Black Friday and by then the C1 would/should be the same price or cheaper than the CX.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All 4 HDMI ports have HDMI 2.1 vs just 1 on the CX. The C1 also has LG's updated webOS UI. This could come to the CX but it has not yet been officially announced.
