- Answer The top row of VESA Mount bolt holes on the LG C1 77" are 22.99" (584 mm) from the top of the panel and the bottom row of VESA Mount bolt holes are 8.19" (208 mm) from the bottom of the panel. The VESA Mount bolt holes on the left and right side are 26.063" (662 mm) from the sides. ^Daphane

QuestionIs the 77” C1 actually worth an extra $500 over the 77” CX? Or am I better off buying the CX?

- Answer The first answer was incorrect. The CX has HDMI 2.1 on all 4 ports. The C1 is also capped at 40gbsp just like the CX. I've been doing lots of research myself and the improvements are minor. Slightly better shadow detail, slightly brighter and the C1 has the new game optimizer. From the advice I've read it absolutely would be a good deal to save the $500 and get the CX. However it's up to you which one you want to buy. I'm leaning towards the C1 myself since I'm a gamer.

QuestionWhat is the difference between C1 and CX?

- Answer Not a whole lot...it's slightly brighter and provides a better image for gamers, and it has the new WebOS 6.0, but it's not a huge leap over the CX (which I didn't own...basically going off of comparisons I've seen). If money is tight, you'll be fine with last year's model, but if you want the latest and greatest, the price difference isn't THAT much more.

QuestionLooking to purchase in a few months but I want to know more about the burn-in and/or image retention issue. For those who own the C1 (or even CX) have you experienced any? If I watch 5-6 continous hrs of news/sports per day, should I be concerned?

- Answer Hi i like you is concerned about burn in. The C1 is my first oled. I have not experienced any burn in at moment. It's still not entirely possible too not get it, but there are alot of safe guards there to help. I only purchased from best buy and brought the geek squad protection since it's one of the only protection plans that covers burn in. So now i have no worries atleast for next 5 years since i have the geek squad protection plan.

- Answer Model OLED77C1PUB is manufactured for use in the US and requires 120 VAC for optimal operation, however, the TV can withstand up to 240 VAC with an adapter if needed. ^Daphane

QuestionWhy is the 77" G1 weight 28 lbs heavier than the 77" C1? What accounts for all that extra weight?

- Answer I cannot explain why the G1 77" is 28 pounds heavier than the C1 without the stand. I will have to escalate for more information. I will provide an update. Thank you. ^Daphane Updated answer: The C1's top half is extremely thin, compared to the bottom half which makes it light weight. The G1 has a uniform design to mount flush to the wall so the thickness is the same on top vs. the bottom half and also uses more metal material which adds to the weight. ^Daphane

QuestionThe magic remote that comes with this C1 doesn't have the NFC logo at the bottom of the remote... I'm wondering if it can still connect to the TV via smartphones Android/Iphone with the NFC functionality?

- Answer There are two different remotes, AN-MR21GA/ AN-MR21GC. Only AN- MR21GC has features NFC for quick pairing of your phone and your TV for wireless streaming. ^Daphane

QuestionDoes the C1 have a remote control IR sensor, and where is it? I believe the included remote is RF, but I'd like to also add a universal remote or two. Does anyone have experience pairing a DirecTV remote?

- Answer It may not have IR sensor, but it works great with a wireless genie mini directv remote. My C1 replaced a 10yr old LG, and right out of the box, the directv remote worked. No programming necessary.

- Answer I don’t see why it wouldn’t work the C1 is one of the top of the line TVs right now, number 1 in a lot of categories according to ratings.com, and works with my Dolby Atmos sound system.
