“Does the C1 have a remote control IR sensor, and where is it? I believe the included remote is RF, but I'd like to also add a universal remote or two. Does anyone have experience pairing a DirecTV remote?”

• It may not have IR sensor, but it works great with a wireless genie mini directv remote. My C1 replaced a 10yr old LG, and right out of the box, the directv remote worked. No programming necessary.
