I have this 86” 8 series for my man cave, as well as the nano cell 86” for my living room. The only difference I can find is in the speakers as the nano cell has a better sound. If your connecting it to a surround sound system then who cares. I’ve watched movies, played games, and Watched sports on both and I just can’t tell the difference, except that I’m about $1,200 to the good in my bank account by buying the 8 series.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tv is great and only lg has the 86" size everyone else have 85. For the price this tv is better than samsung. I do recommend for you to measure the distance between your couch and the tv. If you don't have at least 11ft or 12ft. Don't buy it. This tv is bright and it will hurt your eyes. I tried getting used to it for 3 days but had to return it because 8 1/2 ft is not far enough. Tv its not completely flat on the back so if you planning to install on wall be aware that has little bit of curve.
