“I have heard with an LG television i would not be able to have the ESPN or DAZN streaming services, if so why not?”

Not sure why. But ESPN does not exist with this TV. Pretty big letdown. Searched through all the apps but it just isn't there.

You can only download and install additional compatible apps on the LG UHD 85 Series 86 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (85.6'' Diag), Model # 86UN8570PUC from the LG Content Store (App Store), through the LG Content Store feature that can be launched from the TV's Home Screen. ESPN is not a compatible app that can be downloaded and installed on the TV, but DAZN is a compatible app that is available for download and installation on the TV from the LG Content Store. Hulu is also a preinstalled apps on the TV and you can stream live games on ESPN, ABC, ACCN, BTN, FOX, FS1, CBS, and SEC ESPN Network and also get full access to the entire Hulu streaming library when you upgrade to Hulu with Live TV...^IFV
