The macOS 10.14 Mojave Operating System was released for download on September 24, 2018, and came out of beta testing and was also pre-installed on all new Macs. The LG Super Multi Portable 8X DVD Rewriter with M-DISC™ Support, Model # GP60NS50 was released well before the Mojave OS was released and was only compatible with the Mac OS® X version 10.5.4 or Higher, Direct X 9.0 or Higher Operating Systems at the time. macOS Mojave is a major update that introduces a range of new features like a Dark Mode, Desktop and Finder improvements, new apps, and a revamped Mac App Store, but unfortunately, the update drops support for a number of machines. The macOS Mojave beta team has rebuilt the DVD Player App to to 64-bit and given it a new icon. The app has also been rewritten with AppKit and also supports the MacBook Pro Touch Bar. It also supports Mojave’s new ‘Dark Mode’. And it is hidden in the core apps section of your Mac so you may want to contact them to inquire about that.
