No!! duct to a window at least. the air from a dryer exhaust carries alot of heat and particles, even after passing through a lint screen!! Talk to your manager about installing the proper ducting into the wall(to the outside) to vent the dryer properly. Do you not already have a proper washing/drying room in your apartment complex? If your allowed washers and dryers in your apartment then you should have the proper venting for your dryer already installed into the apartment.

The end cap should have hinged dampers to prevent backdraft when the dryer is not in use. The exhaust duct must be 4 inches in diameter with no obstructions. The exhaust duct should be kept as short as possible. Make sure to clean any old ducts before installing your new dryer. The dryer exhaust system must be exhausted to the outside of the dwelling. If the dryer is not exhausted outdoors, some fine lint and large amounts of moisture will be expelled into the laundry area. An accumulation of lint in any area of the home can create a health and fire hazard. ^CP
