No. There is no wireless box and no speaker wires. Just two rear speakers that are wireless except for the 5ft. power cord on each one that needs to be plugged into a nearby outlet. Use an extension cord if needed to reach an outlet. No back wall? Speaker stands or small tables would be your options. These rear speakers are multi-channel up-firing for Dolby Atmos and are not ceiling mountable. The LG 9.1.5 comes with a subwoofer and another one is not needed nor can be added.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there. Thank you for your questions about setting up your S95QR sound bar system. We know how important it is to get everything configured perfectly for your space. For your first question: while it is technically possible to place the wireless receiver box in your attic and run the speaker wires through the ceiling, it’s crucial to consider a few things. The wireless receiver box requires proper ventilation and should not be placed in extreme temperatures, as the attic can experience significant heat. Also, ensure that the signal between the main sound bar and the wireless receiver box remains strong, as walls and insulation can interfere with wireless communication. Yes, both the wireless receiver box and rear speakers require 110V power connections to function. Each component needs to be plugged into a standard outlet. Regarding your JBL powered subwoofer, unfortunately, the S95QR system is designed to work only with the included LG subwoofer, as it uses specific wireless communication protocols that are not compatible with third-party subwoofers. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is for the LG 9.1.5 sound bar. There are no speaker wires at all. There are 4 power plugs. Im not sure what "box" your referring to, but setup is simple. You first plug in the subwoofer. Then you plug in your two rear upfiring speakers. Last you plug in the sound bar itself . It all connected immediately with no problems at all.
