There is an equalizer button on the remote that cycles through settings, and I think the setting is “Sub” or something like that and you can increase the level for the low end / bass. There is also a bass boost preset you can select, again with the remote or buttons on the soundbar. If you heard the “demo mode” at the store, you can recreate those loud and intense sounds at home using the demo mode (holding down the F button for several seconds) but those are probably special Dolby Atmos signals to highlight features of the system and not typical effects/sounds that you’ll hear in music, mainly movies with Dolby Atmos or other multi-speaker 3.1.2 or 5.1.2 signal formats.
