QuestionOur living room is fairly large with a vaulted ceiling. I like listening to my music LOUD. Is this system loud with good bass?

- Answer Yes it is very loud, although the atmos system does not work as well with vaulted ceilings as compared to flat.

QuestionIs the lg 3.1.2 sound bar worth the extra price over the 3.1. What is the difference.

- Answer I can only answer the is it worth it from my perspective. For me the short answer is yes as I replaced my SL6 with the SL8 and the price difference was about $300. At that price point the sound and feature difference was well worth the money. First the volume and sound quality are much better on the SL8. I have a mid size room and the SL6 at times had issues in filling the room (in particular during movie play back). the voices tend to be, in my opinion a little muddy with the SL6 as compared with the SL8. I know this may have something to do with the sound effect capability of the system, the SL8 has a much larger dolby and DTS capabilities. I will say the one big disappointment is the network portion of the SL8. The required use of google home on the SL8 tends to be more of a problem than a benefit. I have disconnected mine completely. Hope that helps.

QuestionCan I run 2 subwoofers with this sound bar? I have a fairly large room and one doesn’t quite fill the room. If so can the subwoofer be purchased separately?

- Answer There is an equalizer button on the remote that cycles through settings, and I think the setting is “Sub” or something like that and you can increase the level for the low end / bass. There is also a bass boost preset you can select, again with the remote or buttons on the soundbar. If you heard the “demo mode” at the store, you can recreate those loud and intense sounds at home using the demo mode (holding down the F button for several seconds) but those are probably special Dolby Atmos signals to highlight features of the system and not typical effects/sounds that you’ll hear in music, mainly movies with Dolby Atmos or other multi-speaker 3.1.2 or 5.1.2 signal formats.

QuestionThis sound bar while NOT connected to my WiFi is interfering with my WiFi, sucking all the bandwidth. I think the Google Assistant may be spamming my network. How do I disable it?

- Answer I'd try resetting your network, if you haven't connected it yet it will have no method to interfere with your network. FYI Google assistant doesn't spam your network, I have over a dozen devices on my network and can still stream 3 4k TVs without issue

QuestionI have a 75 inch samsung Qled tv and recently purchased this sound bar to pair with it.. I was able to connect it using the optical cable, but when I tried to pair with blue tooth the TV could not find the speakers? Any idea how to connect via Bluetooth

- Answer Are you using the ARC connection from the TV to the soundbar? Run an HMDI cable from your cable box/ satellite box to an HDMI input on the tv then from the ARC HDMI input to the soundbar. That's what I did and it works like a charm.

QuestionI already have some conventionally wired Onkyo surround sound speakers in the 4 corners of my room. Can I use them through a receiver in addition to the sound bar and subwoofer?

- Answer Yes, I am sure that you can but I wouldn't. Having the speakers are better than a soundbar in my opinion. I also wouldn't use both because it may end up being more sound than you want.

- Answer Yes you can, and the sound is amazing! The specs say it only works with the 2018 models, but they work fine. I'm running an SL8YG for Atmos enabled 5.1.2.

QuestionCan u adjust the volume on center speaker for dialogue? When action scenes are going, dialogue is a tiny bit harder to perceive but if u turn up sound doe dialogue, when action scenes occur, It blasts u. Amazing sound but would like a little lower lol

- Answer Yes, you can. Use the equalizer looking button (left side, second from the bottom.) Keep pressing until you see C. Then use the volume to adjust.

QuestionNot receiving Dolby output when using a Roku streaming stick with my Samsung. PCM only. The Samsung TV alone without the Roku stick play so be out for just fine.

- Answer Not sure what Samsung model you have but most models do not support Dolby Atmos Sound or Vision. Dolby digital and HDR 10 with some also supporting DTS:X.

- Answer Use your lg sound bar remote, and touch the sound bar icons. This will give you several choices from woofer, treble, center, right, left, etc. Go to wf; this will show sounds from + to - . Stay on the -side . This will go from-1 to -15. Pick your lowest range to get rid of the feedback. Use s/b remote (+/-) upper left side. Good luck!

- Answer Mine is controlled by my TV. Nano 9 series. Use eARC (HDMI) to connect it.

QuestionWe like this Soundbar but occasionally it makes a sharp noise that sounds like glass is breaking. Like a high pitch pinging noise. I don't know if I should take it back yet but I'm sure am thinking about it!

- Answer When I first set the soundbar up I used an HDMI cable, the sound was horrible so I switched to the optical cable, NO problems just great sound.

- Answer I bought the LG Powered Wireless Rear Channel Speakers Model SPK8-S. The Best Buy SKU is 6201023, and they perform appropriately. I think the cost was $179.99 + tax.
