AS a Window Air Conditioner, the ENERGY STAR® LG 12,000 BTU 115V Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW1216ER requires a single-hung or double-hung window for proper installation. All side louvers of the cabinet must remain exposed to the outside of the structure. Non-window installations, including using sleeves, holes in walls or any other installations are not recommended...^IFV
