The LG CineBeam LED Projector with Built-In Battery, Bluetooth Sound Out and Screen Share, Model # PH550 features an HDMI Input that you can connect to an HDMI Output on a DVD Player that has one. It also has an AV port that can be connected to a DVD Player that features an AV Output, also referred to as a Composite port (i.e. Red/White/Yellow ports). To make the necessary connection, you will need to purchase an RCA Gender (Adapter) or RCA to mim AV cable. Regrettably, there is no other way to explain this so if you need some assistance, we recommend that you have a Sales Associate at Best Buy assist you with this. The other way to connect a DVD Player is if your DVD Player has a Component Video Port (i.e. Red/Green/Blue). You will need a Component to VGA (15-Pin D-Sub port) adapter that you can connect from your DVD Player to the RGB IN on the projector. Again, if this all sounds too technical, we highly recommend that you get assistance from a Besy Buy Sales Associate. If using this type of connection, you will also need an RCA Stereo Audio cable and an RCA Stereo Audio Adapter to mini AV (3.5mm, aka Headphone jack) port for the audio...^IFV
