I freaken LOVE this LG HBS-S80 headset. I don't know about the 780's... but the battery is great on these ones. I always buy the extended warranty in any case. I love love love how comfortable they are - and I wear these 20hrs a day. They are nice and loud - for music and phone calls. People don't have trouble hearing me. I use it more for phone calls than anything. Durability... well.. that I worry about. I bought 2 a few months ago and I swap them back and forth for charging.. and one set already died. Best Buy is actually discontinuing these and you can't order them anymore... but Amazon still has them. I suggest ordering two at their price.
