• As long as that carrier uses GSM this phone *should* work with them. I didn't set it up with best buy when I bought it. all I did was switch the sim card and it worked (I use t-mobile)

• I already had Verizon so I stayed with them. Best Buy has many carriers reps in store I do not know if ghe have a Metro PC rep their.
