QuestionCan I mount this microwave under a cabinet? Does it have a mounting kit available

- Answer The LG 0.9 cu. ft. NeoChef™ Countertop Microwave with Smart Inverter and EasyClean®, Model # LMC0975ST is designed to be placed on a flat surface such as a kitchen countertop or a specially designed microwave oven cart. Do not place oven above a gas or electric range. There isn't a mounting bracket available for it that you can use to mount it under a cabinet. Free airflow around the oven is important. Allow at least 4 inches of space at the top, sides, and back of the oven for proper ventilation. All air vents should be kept clear during cooking. If air vents are covered during oven operation the oven may overheat. If this happens, a sensitive thermal safety device automatically turns the oven off. The oven will be inoperable until it has cooled sufficiently. ^CP

QuestionIO need an owners manual, bought new at Home Depot about a year ago. The + and - symbols on the door are impossible to read. I use a flashlight to see the symbols. Is there a method to turn lighting on? Need fixed or trashed can!

QuestionMicrowave has been working fine for several months. Now it will only stay on for 2 or 3 seconds, then shuts off. I have tried unplugging for hours. Is there a reset switch that I need to push?

- Answer Hi Thomas! Unfortunately... no. I called LG for the same problem, and there is no solution other than taking it to a repair center. This awesome microwave doesn’t last long.

Questiondo you have to have the door open to program?

- Answer Yes, you do. 1. While the door needs to be open, it is not a big deal, and the clean look of the oven, outweighs any inconvenience. 2. You can do 30 second increments from the front, with the door open. Plus, the mechanism you push is flush with the door. You do not see a button.

QuestionI plan to keep the microwave inside a cabinet. Is it safe to operate the microwave within the cabinet space if the cabinet door is open during cooking? Or does it have be removed from the cabinet and placed on a countertop during cooking?

- Answer I personally would remove it from the cabinet. Most appliances need to vent fully. Safety-wise I would be more comfortable with full air flow.

Question"Full Specs" indicate that there is an On/Off control for turntable. This is an important feature to me, but I find nothing in the User Manual nor see any such control on front panel. How does one control the turntable, or is this a misleading statement?

- Answer Unplug the microwave… when you plug it back in, the very first thing it will have you do is set the time. You choose 12h or 24h time and then set the hour then the minutes.
