- Answer The exhaust duct must be 4-inch (10.2 cm) in diameter with no obstructions. The exhaust duct should be kept as short as possible. Make sure to clean any old ducts before installing your new dryer. ^CP

- Answer My dryer makes chiming sounds - make sure your dryer has not been set to mute - there is a button on the far right marked "Signal" that controls that feature for my dryer. I can turn sounds on/off using it - and set the volume. Details are in the manual - which is also readable online at company's site.
