“Our current unit recirculates, and we want this one to vent outside. However, it may be several months before HVAC can do the ductwork. Can we install to recirculate and then change later to vent outside? Or is the decision, once made, permanent? Thx.”

• Yes, unit can be changed over but it will require re-installation. Manual instructions for changing are very complete. DO keep the duct adapter which you will need later on when you convert to outside vent.
