One for broiling toast and the other for fast cooking meat.

Broiling works best for thin cuts of meat, fish, or seafood, as well as tender vegetable strips. Many find it beneficial to do a combination of both. Lets say that your chicken wings are fully cooked, but you would like the outside to be cooked more so that it is crispy. Change the settings from bake to broil and select your time until you get the results that you desire. ^Jennifer
