I always start entry level with any product I have a problem with! It can usually be taken care of there, if not the more people you track thru the crazier it gets SO step 2 is COROPRATE, at LG. They do care about there customers but really need to work on there Customer Service. Give it a try and quit writing a book about it!

I've replaced a half dozen LG systems as I use it heavily and it breaks within 6 months -year of new...just get a new one and move on...not interested in trying to get repair...wire is too delicate to worry about that :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had similar issues when buying the extended warranties they sell you when buying the product. They always find a way not to replace the item. Even though i always have the receipts and do everything they ask for, I've yet to get an item replaced. I don't even bother buying the warranty anymore.

Go to the LG (American) Corporate Site [and get their telephone # and address], there read their "Mission Statement", then call their "Consumer Affairs/Community Affairs Department. That is where you START from, then you WILL get positive results. \ LS
